Instructions on choosing the right image and installation to BeagleBone devices can be found on various places, including:

Once a BeagleBone image has been installed, there are several ways to get the C Code Run tools working. The simplest method:

  • connect the BeagleBone to a linux computer using the micro USB cable
  • send the necessary ccr_*.deb files to the BeagleBone using the ethernet-over-usb interface
    • scp ccr_*.deb debian@192.168.7.2:
  • SSH into the BeagleBone device using the ethernet-over-usb interface
    • ssh debian@192.168.7.2
  • run the installation commands for the .deb files
    • if this is a wireless device, start by configuring the WiFi interface:
      • sudo dpkg -i ccr_wifi*.deb
      • sudo ccr_wifi_connection.sh MyWifiSSIDName mypassword
    • install the rest of the packages and any necessary dependencies:
      • sudo apt-get update
      • sudo dpkg -i ccr_*.deb
      • sudo apt-get install -f
    • reboot the device:
      • sudo reboot
Note
If you've installed ccr_user, remember that both root and debian will be locked down after you reboot. You'll need to login with the new ccr account and password. See CCR User for details.
